Watching the Soo Line Trail Bridge go up has been really exciting! I personally can't wait to take my first ride accross that bridge! It won't be long at all now.

April 1st the Trail is be open to ATVs!  

We are very excited about the upcoming camping season! There is so much to look forward to. Starting with the big Onamia Days 100th year celebration and All Class Reunion. There will be so much to do and see. What a great time for all. 4th of July will be on a Friday! That should be lots of fun! Then this September we will end the camping season with a bang as we will be hosting the ATVAM convention! That will be a huge fun time for all!

We are hoping to have a few of our own fun projects done for this summer too. But you'll just have to wait and see what they are.

5 - 6 - 08

It's warm today and the sun is shining! We turned the water on to the sites and only had two leakers that were easy to fix. We are pretty much ready for the campers to come on in and make themselves at home. I have a feeling it won't be long before I get to smell fresh cut grass again. I may even plant some flowers in the planters today! I love spring and summer! 

4 - 27 - 08

 It's been a very strange April here. Winter just doesn't seem to want to let go! We were so excited the other day, enjoying the 70 degree weather and talking about turning the water on to the sites and wham! More cold and snow! As I look out my office window, I see the grass becoming more and more prominent as the snow is melting away. Is this the last of the snow? I sure hope so. We are just so anxious to get things rolling and see those campers come in. Seasonals have been picking up. We now have three with a few more in the works. I love seasonals and repeat customers. It's like we all become a little family or neighborhood. I rode my new bike on the trail the other day. It was GREAT! I can't wait to get out there for many more rides. On a sadder note, I lost my bike riding buddy. Our "ferocious" toy poodle, Lucy passed away. She has been part of our family for 11 years and we miss her terribly. We had some great adventures together and I will cherish those memories. So the three amigos are down to two.

Today the trail opens for ATV's! I don't even know what to say about all of the snow we got yesterday. Yuck!  I guess I should just keep the thought that it won't last long. I am just sooo ready to get out the Tank and mow the grass! I am enjoying the spring visitors to the pond. We had 4 geese and 4 ducks! I do have a nice view out my office window. Now I am ready for camping visitors. Can't wait to smell the smoke from the campfires and see everyone enjoying themselves. Won't be long now!
